Day in Des Moines

Nacho here checking in. We had our first night in the Airstream (AS) at Timberline campground in Waukee, IA. It is so hot here in Iowa, 101!!!! The air conditioner cooled down the AS, but it sure was hot while Mom and Dad set up. We had a few issues with the trailer, so they said it's going back to get some bugs fixed. I like to kill bugs, don't understand why they won't let me and KT help?! We all tried out the new dinette/bed. It was pretty comfortable. KT and I got left behind while they met Mary, Dan and Steph for a movie and dinner. Mom said it was way to hot to spend it walking around outside. Dad wanted to go to Living History Farms, but Mom said maybe this fall. So I guess we will be coming down here again. She was saying what a good meal it was at Waterfront Seafood. She highly recommends it if anyone is traveling through Des Moines. That's it for today. Nacho
